ENTH-200 and ENTH-250

Hot water cylinders with a built-in heat pump. 204 or 250 litres.

Two sizes on the same 600 × 625 mm footprint. Both use natural R290 refrigerant, reach 70°C on the heat pump alone and connect to the TCL Home app. Made by TCL, supplied in Great Britain by enthalvia.

70°CHot from the heat pump alone75°C with the back-up element.

The heat pump heats the tank to 70°C on its own. The 1,600 W element takes it to 75°C, and switches on automatically when the air is below −7°C, and the unit keeps heating in room air down to −25°C. A timed disinfection cycle heats the tank to 70°C.

Performance figures
R290A natural refrigerantGlobal warming potential of 3.

150 g of R290. It is a natural refrigerant, not an F-gas, and TCL state it has no negative impact on the ozone layer. Installers follow the manufacturer’s R290 guidance.

Installation notes
WiFiRun it from your phoneThe TCL Home app and over-the-air updates.

Change settings and check how the unit is running from anywhere. Holiday mode and timed heating are built in, and software updates arrive over the air without a visit.

Controls and connectivity
SG‑ReadyReady for energy systemsSG-Ready and Modbus interfaces.

SG-Ready lets a compatible energy controller tell the unit when to heat. Modbus provides a connection to suitable building controls. Both need compatible equipment and installer setup; a smart meter alone is not enough.

Questions and answers
0.85 MPaEnamelled steel tankMagnesium anode as standard.

The tank is rated at 0.85 MPa. The standard TCL documents list a magnesium anode with an optional electronic anode. TCL has also discussed factory-fitted electronic anodes for future orders; confirm the configuration on your quotation. Water inlet, outlet and drain are all G 3/4".

Confirmed by TCL in writing, 29 September 2026. Sound pressure at 1 m is 41 dB. From cold on the heat pump alone, 10 to 50°C with 15°C air, the ENTH-200 takes 6 hours and the ENTH-250 7.2 hours. Room-size requirements for the exact 150 g charge need clarification from TCL; your installer must check siting, airflow and service access. TCL’s EU product fiche rates both models A+ for water heating at XL load profile. The final UK label and supplied configuration must be confirmed before ordering.

Installation

Fitted by a qualified installer.

The ENTH-200 and ENTH-250 need an installer competent in unvented hot water systems. They must follow TCL’s instructions, including R290 safety requirements, and the building regulations for the installation location. In England, an appropriate competent person scheme can self-certify the work; otherwise building control must be notified before it starts. A qualification alone is not a notification exemption.

We do not install. When you enquire, we put you in touch with a partner installer where one covers your area.

Technical terms, made simple

What the figures mean for you.

COP: heat for your electricity

A tested COP of 3.30 means about 3.3 units of heat delivered per unit of electricity used during that test. It is not a fixed saving on your bill.

kWh: electricity used

This is the unit on your electricity bill. TCL’s annual figures use the same standard “XL” hot water demand test for both models.

dB: two different measures

Sound power describes the source. Sound pressure is measured at a distance. The 53 dB(A) and 41 dB figures are different measurements, not competing noise ratings.

Maximum temperatures and operating limits are not promises of the same efficiency in every condition. Your installer should size the unit for demand and assess the air source, noise and service access.
